Amur Leopard - Leopard de l'Amour

Inspired by a Photo that I took at the zoo during summer vacation. It was a warm day and all the animals had run for shelter.

I know that the details section provides information as though this were a photo, but believe me when I say that this is all painting!

I did try to fix the photo in photo shop but it just couldn't be done as well as the tiger photograph in my last posting, so I blew it up, took certain reference points and deleted the layer...hence the details remained as if it were a photo.

This not a paint over.... Not that I have any objections to paint overs, photo manipulation or any CG aided art. I do intend to familiarize myself with all of them and to the best of my knowledge attempt to exploit them in order to become a better artist or a better puppeteer as some would call it.... While doing so however, I will be totally honest in what I do.

Big thank yous to Carfade, Muz and Bazar's advice on grass and especially for Carfade's permission to use here grass brush set. Hope I didn't mess up too bad.....Still learning.... Hugs xD
